How much are the taxes for weed in Illinois?

Illinois’s adult use tax rate is based upon which product is being purchased in addition to regular sales tax for that location. Here is the breakdown of taxes per category

- 25% tax on cannabis products with 35% THC or more
- 20% tax on THC-infused cannabis products (edibles, tonics, liquids)
