Sales and Return Policy

Return policy: State regulations prohibit us from accepting product returns. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. If a product you purchased is defective, please notify us within 14 days of your purchase. To ensure we address your concerns appropriately, please submit a video of the faulty item,  a photo of your receipt, and a photo of the product label to Hello@moodshine.com along with your contact information, or feel free to bring the video and photos to the store and a manager will work with you to ensure you’re delighted with your Mood Shine experience.

Recalled Product Policy

At Mood Shine, the safety of our customers is our top priority. In compliance with Illinois state regulations, we monitor product recalls and will notify you immediately if you’ve purchased a recalled item. Below are the steps we will take to ensure a smooth return and replacement process for recalled products.

1. Notification of Product Recall

If you have purchased a product that has been recalled, we will contact you as soon as possible. Notifications will be sent through one or more of the following methods:

  • Email (using the email address listed on your customer profile)
  • Phone (via call or text message)
  • In-store notification (if you are visiting our dispensary)

 In compliance with Illinois state law, you will be informed of the recall and provided with instructions on how to return the product, if necessary. 

2. Immediate Discontinuation of Product Use

For your safety, we ask that you stop using the recalled product immediately once notified. This is crucial to prevent any potential health risks associated with the recall.

3. Refund or Replacement Options

In compliance with Illinois cannabis regulations, we offer the following options once the recalled product is returned:

  • Replacement: If the recalled product is still available or a comparable alternative is in stock, we will provide a replacement at no additional cost.
  • Full Refund: If you prefer, we will issue a full refund through your original payment method or provide store credit, in accordance with Illinois law.
  • Alternative Options: If a suitable replacement is not available, we will provide additional store credit or help you select an alternative product.

6. Processing Time

Once the recalled product is returned, refunds or replacements will be processed within 7 business days. If additional time is required due to compliance or safety protocols, we will keep you informed of the process.

7. Keeping You Informed

We take our responsibility seriously and will keep you informed throughout the return or replacement process. Should there be any updates or changes regarding the recall, we will notify you promptly.
